Crafty Distillery
"Galloway gin, made from scratch"
About Crafty Distillery
Crafty Distillery is an independent craft distillery in the south west of Scotland, near Newton Stewart on the edge of the Galloway Forest. It is best known for Hills & Harbour Gin, a small-batch gin built around local botanicals. Everything is made on site from scratch, from the base spirit up, with the surrounding landscape of hills, forest and coast running right through the flavour.

The House Style
What makes a Crafty gin taste like Galloway
Galloway botanicals
Local to the core
The house gin leans on botanicals gathered close to home, including noble fir picked from the Galloway hills and bladderwrack seaweed from the nearby coast. The result is fresh and green with a soft, savoury coastal note underneath.
Made from scratch
Base spirit up
Rather than buy in neutral spirit, Crafty distils its own base and builds the gin from there. That control over the spirit is unusual for a distillery this size and gives the gin a rounder, softer character.
Small batch
Hands on the still
Everything is distilled in small runs on site, so the spirit is watched closely from cut to bottle. The style is approachable and bright, a gin built for a long tonic as much as for sipping.
